This full-bodied and fruity wine comes from vines grown high on the slopes of Mount Ventoux, one of the best vineyards in the Rhone valley. The blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault grapes has produced a typical Rhone valley style, full of fruit and spice aromas, it has soft tannins and good body.
This wine is a dense purple-black in color, with heady aromas of red cherries and black pepper. The palate is rich and inviting with ripe forest fruits and sweet smoky/mineral flavors typical of the terroir.
2010 Evodia is 100% Garnacha sourced from the highest elevation vineyards of Garnacha of any DO in Spain. It offers up a slightly exotic nose of earthy minerality, mocha, black cherry, and black raspberry. Savory, concentrated, and with a forward personality.
